QBE has appointed Melody Lyndon-Stanford as head of client engagement.

Lyndon-Stanford will shape QBE’s client engagement strategy across industries, geographies and customer segments.
She will also work closely with underwriters, claims and distribution.
The role is effective from June 2026.
Experience
Lyndon-Stanford brings more than 15 years of insurance experience to the role, having started her career as an underwriter and specialising in client-focused roles since 2021.

She joins QBE from Aviva, where she most recently held the role of client relationship and innovation manager.
In the newly created role, Lyndon-Stanford will be based in London and report into Matt Lacy, director of client proposition for QBE’s European Operations.
Lacy said: “We’re thrilled to welcome her to QBE and I’m confident she will make a strong and lasting contribution. Her deep technical expertise, insurance know-how and strong client networks will be an asset as we continue to improve our client offering.”

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
