Starting this week’s list of the biggest people moves is Euna Underwriting, with the specialist MGA appointing Nicholas Hartley as head of property and casualty (P&C) to support the multiline build out of the business.

In his new role, Hartley will provide strategic direction as the MGA grows its P&C portfolio.

Then, Zurich UK appointed Andy King as head of regional market for the north.

Having held senior roles across strategic execution, operational delivery and broker engagement at Zurich, the insurer said that King’s appointment will strengthens its regional leadership team as it continues to invest in growth, service and long‑term broker partnerships.

Meanwhile, Biba announced a series of changes to its main board, with new committee chairs stepping into leadership roles following the completion of several members’ tenures.

Next, Ascend Insurance Holdings (AIH) appointed Roger Brown as its new group head of M&A.

In his new role, Brown will lead AIH’s M&A programme as the group continues to build a national platform centred on independent commercial lines brokers.

Finally, Ardonagh-owned broker Price Forbes has appointed Finn Cackett as joint managing director of A&H.

Based in London, Cackett will be responsible for producing business, developing and executing growth strategies and designing new products while reporting to David Merry, head of A&H.
