’I look forward to supporting our underwriters, partners and clients as we scale our presence across the specialty market,’ says appointee

Westfield Specialty International has promoted Katie MacGregor to chief operating officer.

In her new role, MacGregor will lead operational functions across the international business — covering UK, Middle East and Europe — working closely with senior leadership to support strategic growth plans across these markets.

“Westfield’s commitment to delivering consistently excellent service is what sets us apart and it’s a privilege to support that ambition in this new role,” she said.

”As we continue to grow, my focus will be on strengthening our operations so that we can deliver the flexibility, pace, and consistency that our clients expect wherever they operate.

“I look forward to supporting our underwriters, partners and clients as we scale our presence across the specialty market.”

Experience

MacGregor joined Westfield Specialty International in 2016 following 12 years in senior claims leadership roles at Liberty Specialty.

She has spent the last decade serving as head of claims. In her new role, she will report to Anthony Baldwin, president at Westfield Specialty International.

Baldwin said: “As we expand into new markets, build out our portfolios and widen our distribution network, MacGregor’s deep operational expertise, attention to detail and ability to drive best‑in‑class service make her ideally suited to take on the COO position.

“Her leadership will be critical as we continue to scale our international platforms and deliver the responsiveness and service excellence our brokers and clients expect.”
