Towergate has appointed Novae Underwriting to supply a web-based delivery system to aid consolidation of its wholesale SME professional indemnity business.
SVB-owned Novae becomes one of three insurers working with Towergate in this sector, and the only one to provide a fully web-based trading platform delivering all documentation at point of sale.
Novae will provide an on-line referral system for more complex risks, facilitating a streamlined underwriting process and delivering reduced transactional costs. Claims will also be monitored on-line, with real time reporting.
Peter Cullum, executive chairman of Towergate said: “Novae's on-line trading system further extends our drive to change the business model we use for commercial risks and robustly manage costs in the underwriting and placement process”.
