Moving jobs to India will have a positive impact on the UK economy, according to a leading think tank.
The Centre for Economic and Business Research said that outsourcing will reduce costs and lead to the creation of high skilled jobs. The study showed that 388 out of 500 people who lost their jobs were re-employed in higher skilled jobs.
It is estimated that outsourcing increased profits by £80m last year rising to £444m in 2008.
