The Omni Whittington Group has appointed three directors to the board of Reliance National Insurance Company Europe (RNICE), following its acquisition in October.
Dennis Eve has been appointed managing director and chief financial officer, and Stephanie Mocatta and Richard Whatton were both appointed directors.
All three are now based at Reliance National House in London, said Omni Whittington.
RNICE is a London Market insurer that ceased underwriting in 2001. It was a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance National UK and wrote accident and health, marine and aviation, property, third party liability and inwards reinsurance business in Europe.
RNICE was the third insurance company in run-off to be acquired by Omni Whittington since 2000.
Omni Whittington chief executive Tony Hobrow said: "The appointment of a new team of directors is the fist step in our strategy to complete a comprehensive solvent run-off plan for RNICE."
