The Personal Finance Society has appointed Tim Eadon as chief executive officer.
Eadon was previously head of Sesame Solutions, leading the advice division at Sesame, the UK's largest IFA network.
CII deputy director general, Bob Bullivant said: “The PFS needs strong leadership to carry it forward from initial establishment to the position of a professional body whose members are a majority of financial advisers in the UK."
