The Primary Group has announced the appointment of four new key members of staff that will play a part in its future development plans.
This is added to its recent recruitment drive of 72 new members of staff and five international acquisitions, as well as the creation of a new start-up company.
Charles Norton-Smith, former Chairman of BMS Special Risk Services Limited, has joined to set up a North American arm for The Primary Group. Charles, who has extensive experience in the US market, will shortly be relocating to Washington, DC which will be the initial base of operations.
Nigel Still joins the Group as Human Resources Manager to grow and strengthen the Group's HR Strategy. With over 20 years' experience of human resources, gained in the financial services and insurance sector, Nigel will be working towards the group objective of becoming the `employer of choice' in each of its operating sections.
Estelle Kirby, specialist financial PR adviser, joins the Primary Group as its Communications Manager dealing with internal and external communications. Estelle's specific knowledge in the insurance industry will play a vital part in the ongoing communications.
Justin Musson joins from the Financial Services Authority, to work with Nick Marley on acquisitions. The group said its growth and acquisitive nature requires an experienced dedicated team, with knowledge not only of financial acquisitions but also regulation and control issues.
