Zurich has launched a yacht and motorboat product for its high net worth (HNW) clients.
The collaboration with its sister operation Navigators and General will provide products that can be bought as add-ons to its existing range of high net worth products.
PI database update
Experian will reveal developments on the CUE personal injury database on 23 January.
Experian manages the database, a claims underwriting exchange. It is claimed to help prevent fraud by identifying false, multiple and non-disclosure of claims.
Esure was the first UK insurer to sign up to the database.
Zenith Home on EDI
The Zenith Group has announced that its household policy, Zenith Home, has been developed for Sirius users. The product is set to be ready for full-cycle EDI functionality during February.
Plant recovered
The Equipment Register recovered more than £200,000 worth of plant and equipment in December.
Among the stolen items returned were six mini-excavators, a JCB and a bulldozer.
CETA ASU launch
UK general insurance network CETA has launched a new ASU policy.
CETA says it hopes its Safeguard policy will prove more popular than current offerings. Underwritten by NIG, CETA claims the product is cheaper, and says it has no exclusion period.
