Pre-tax profit up 60% in 2007

CBG Group, the Manchester based insurance broker and financial services specialist, saw profit soar in 2007, the group reported today.

Adjusted pre-tax profit rose nearly 60% to £1.9m. Group revenues increase over 40% to £7.4m.

Laurie Turnbull, chairman of CBG said: “In an ever changing market place, CBG continues to enhance shareholder value through the delivery of sustainable growth in revenue, profit and earnings per share.

“Our strategy of growth by selective acquisitions, underpinned by the enhancement of customer relationship values through the cross-selling process, continues to be reflected in yet another year’s excellent results.”

The group said it was looking at further acquisitions.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
