Tastebuds and Wetherspoons in same sentence shock
It would take some achievement to be compared to Rolling Stones guitar legend Keith Richards, or Welsh crooner Tom Jones.
But the latest person to enter the insured body parts Hall of Fame (or Shame) is none other than Wetherspoon’s pub curry chef Sanjay Sigat.
According to reports, the chef has insured his tastebuds for £1m in order to protect his ability to spot a decent Vindaloo. Backchat is hopeful that Wetherspoons’ Thursday curry night will remain a permanent fixture.
