Reason & Co, the commercial insurance broker has announced that it has finalised an arrangement for the transfer of the domestic household removals and self-storage business of the transportation risks division of Willis Group Holdings.
This follows a decision by Willis to downsize its involvement in the UK domestic household removals and self-storage sectors of the market.
David Raynor, managing director for Reason & Co, said: “We are delighted to have agreed on this business transfer arrangement with Willis.
"Our long-term business strategy includes becoming the leading broker for the removals and storage sectors and we have taken a huge step towards achieving that goal. We will presently have almost 400 clients in this sector from all across the UK.”
The transfer takes effect from 1 October 2005.
