RAC fails to advise on sex aid.
The PR team at Aviva-owned RAC received a rather unusual request recently. More used to providing comment on the likes of excess speed, the team was bemused to be asked to talk about the road-safety issues arising from a sex aid that is plugged into a car.
But they decided to pass on the chance of appearing on TV in case things got out of hand. “I didn’t want to appear on camera talking about driver distractions while holding a big vibrator,” one of the team told Backchat.
