AXA Assistance has entered into a risk sharing agreement with Hamilton Insurance to provide a new home emergency plan.
The policy will be sold exclusively through Hamilton's parent, the HFC Bank Group. Hamilton Insurance is the underwriter for the policy, while Axa Assistance will provide claims handling and reinsurance facilities.
Home Emergency Plan guards against domestic crises such as storm damage, burst or leaking pipes and vermin infestation.
Ian Jansingh, Axa Assistance head of business development, said: “We view this agreement as the start of a long-term business relationship with the HFC Bank Group.”
