Broker Smart and Cook has recruited Tim Mortimer as its new operations director.
It said Mortimer’s role would involve focus on ‘ensuring a consistency of culture and working practice across Smart and Cook’s 11 regional offices and several recently purchased businesses’.
Mortimer said: “We will be working to integrate our newly acquired business into the fold, as well as looking after our more long-standing branches to encourage efficient working practices and consistent standards.
Before joining Smart and Cook, Mortimer worked for Harrogate broker Gale & Phillipson for ten years, before moving on to SMG in Leeds.
