Leeds based brokers SMg Risk Solutions has appointed Paul Sams as property underwriter within its property owners division. Sams has over three years experience in underwriting property insurance.
Sams will be responsible for underwriting both commercial and residential property policies and will work with property developers, managing agents, chartered surveyors, estate owners and property owners, said SMg.
Managing director Mark Minton said Sams would be working with the property team to expand the division further.
SMg is part of the Folgate Partnership, with an annual turnover of £50m gross written premium
