Lloyd's underwriting agency Spectrum Syndicate Management has appointed former Lawrence Graham reinsurance partner Jacqui Owens as senior partner.

Spectrum is managing the run-off of the Crowe group of syndicates.

In her new role Owens will head initiatives to resolve market disputes collectively involving over £150m worth of claims, said Spectrum.

Spectrum chief executive Richard Murphy, said: “We are delighted that Jacqui is joining Spectrum. Her experience in tackling both the day-to-day and strategic issues inherent in the management of run-off business will be a great asset for the group.

“Dispute resolution is a key element in expedient run-off for the syndicates currently under Spectrum management.

"By appointing an effective litigator with excellent reinsurance knowledge and market experience we can offer, possibly uniquely, high level legal services when acquiring further portfolios.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
