Software Solutions Partners (SSP) has announced a new operating structure that will take effect immediately.

SSP said the business will now operate through four divisions, Intermediary Services, Corporate Broker, Insurer Systems and Distribution.

Intermediary Services will be headed up by divisional director Paul Clayton, formerly head of Intermediary Services and will focus on the large number of locally-based intermediaries throughout the UK and Ireland.

The Corporate Broker division will be managed by director David Waring and will focus on large brokers and intermediaries.

The Insurer Systems division will focus on systems and service to the full range of general insurance companies and will be headed up by divisional director Steve Bow.

The current head of eBusiness, Richard Crocker, has been promoted to divisional director for Distribution, which will focus on maximising eBusiness and web-based opportunities for customers across all divisions, as well as managing EDI relationships with insurer partners and SSP's imarket implementation.

At the same time two, the company said senior executives, Phil Ashton, executive manager – Intermediary Sales and Guy Oliver, head of Corporate Operations have become divisional director of Intermediary Sales and marketing and divisional director of Development Services respectively.

Managing Director Laurence Walker said: “As we are planning to grow both organically and by acquisition it is important that our increasing scale brings additional benefits to our customers and does not impact on our close relationships with them, as this has been key to our success.

"SSP is now in the unique position of being able to offer solutions for every channel of general insurance in the UK, from the carrier through to the end consumer and I am confident that these changes will ensure our partnership approach to business and focus on our customers continues through our next period of growth.”
