THB has announced the acquisition of Carter Gilbrook Insurance Services (CGIS).
The company said it would establish a new division, THB Professions, which would form part of its Lloyd's broking operation, Thompson Heath & Bond Ltd.
THB said its professional indemnity business would be placed with the newly-formed operation.
The company will be headed up by Charles England. CGIS principal Wayne Redgrave has been appointed a divisional director.
