Towergate Partnership has acquired Road Haulage Association Insurance Services (RHAIS).
RHAIS is an insurance broking operation with an exclusive relationship with the Road Haulage Association (RHA) for the distribution of general insurance products to the RHA membership.
Towergate said RHAIS will fit into its existing Telford operation.
Peter Cullum, executive chairman of Towergate Partnership, said: “Our latest acquisition provides access to a very strong affinity relationship with the RHA and with some 60 offices in the UK. We are well placed to enhance the level of service provided to the haulage industry.”
