Towry Law has expanded its specialist credit and political risk insurance division with two new appointments. Ian Crossen and Samantha Yates will join Towry Law Insurance Brokers.

Crossen joins the company from Marsh's specialist credit division, having also worked at Sedgwick and ECDG. He will be based in Towry Law's Manchester offices and will have responsibility for new business in the North West, said the company.

Yates joins from a credit management background at solicitors Hammond Suddard, and will be based in the company's Leeds office, said Towry Law.

The company said the expansion would increase the number of its offices with a specialist credit division to four; Bracknell, Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
