The CII has awarded UKGI continuing professional development (CPD) accreditation status.

UKGI is the first business and compliance support provider to achieve accreditation.

The CII assessed UKGI's compliance training workshops over a three-month period.

Jill Hambley, head of compliance at UKGI said: “I am delighted, not only that the UKGI workshop pProgramme has been awarded CPD accreditation by the CII, but also that we are the first within our sector to have achieved this industry recognised standard in training provision.

“It is widely accepted that the CII will only endorse training events which deliver tangible benefits to recipients with regard to their professional development. We know our members value the workshop programme which UKGI has been running over the past three years, but to have achieved accreditation is independent confirmation for both us and them that the service we are providing is both relevant and of a high standard.”

Sandy Scott, CII director general, commented: "The CII is delighted to accredit the UKGI workshop programme which recognises UKGI's support for the raising of standards".
