More women are vandailsing cars

As if times weren’t hard enough for motorists with rising fuel charges and road taxes, a report from Direct Line has shown that women are increasingly committing acts of vandalism against cars.

Its Vandalism Report has shown that almost 1.5 million women have admitted to committing acts of car vandalism. Boredom, booze and a spur of the moment fury are some of the reasons given by the insurer for the crazed women attacking cars.

Perhaps their husbands’ driving techniques could also be at fault? No matter – either way, Direct Line is on hand to help, claiming to be the first insurer to protect policyholders’ no claims bonuses in cases of vandalism.

Hold on to your handbags.
