There were strange things going on below the belt at Bristol-based legal expenses insurer DAS, as staff celebrated Wrong Trousers Day last week.
The event, in support of Bristol Children's Hospital, was in tribute to the plasticine heroes Wallace and Gromit, Oscar-winning creations of local animator Nick Park.
All sorts of bizarre leg garments were on display in the department, but fortunately – unlike in the cartoon – the strange trousers did not lead to a crime-filled rampage.
The only thing out of control was good taste, if the specimens on display here are anything to go by.
