Zurich has today released a preliminary estimate of its expected aggregate claims payments related to winter storm Kyrill, putting the figure at approximately $150m.

The group said that this estimate was well within its net retention for European storm risks. Charges for Kyrill will be recorded in the results for the first quarter 2007, due for release on 16 May.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
