Neil Beattie has left Zurich to join the CII as faculty operations manager.
Beattie has worked at Zurich for four years in the positions of senior account executive and global corporate business manager.
In his new position, Beattie will focus on four of the CII's seven faculties: broking, claims, underwriting and the London market.
The CII's head of general insurance, Fiona Andrews, commented on Beattie's appointment: “We are delighted that Neil has joined us at a crucial time in the development of the faculties and their central role at the CII. Neil's appointment demonstrates our continued commitment to providing a market segmented approach to product development, services and support to both our members and our business partners. His knowledge and experience in the general insurance sector will help establish the faculties as true centres of technical excellence.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
