Manchester United is reported to be in the cusp of signing a £70m sponsorship deal with insurance giant AIG.
The deal is thought to be one of the largest in football history.
According to reports, AIG saw off competition from Mansion, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways and LG Electronics to get the deal.
The sponsorship deal is expected to be officially announced in the next few days.
The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
