Credit management and insurance specialist Atradius has appointed Wilfried Verstraete as chairman and chief executive officer, with effect from 1 May 2004.
Prior to his appointment, Verstraete was chief financial officer for Wanadoo, Orange and Mobistar, all subsidiaries of France Telecom Group.
Verstraete succeeds Paul-Henri Denieuil who became interim chief executive officer in August 2003 following a shareholding restructure.
Denieuil will advise Verstraete for three months before assuming the role of chairman of the supervisory board.
