Former Renaissance Re president to be non-exec
Reinsurance broker Benfield has appointed William Riker to its board of directors with effect from 1 September 2008.
Riker, who was most recently president and chief underwriting officer of Renaissance Re, will join the board as a non-executive Director.
John Coldman, chairman of Benfield said: "We are delighted to welcome Bill to the Board. His extensive experience in the converging reinsurance and capital markets will be a great asset to the group.”
