Cunningham Lindsey's liability services has announced five new appointments for its complex loss team.

Stephen McCune has been named assistant complex loss director. Based in Belfast, McCune has 18 years experience in the insurance market and specialises in public liability, products liability and pollutions claims.

Andrew Robinson has been appointed principal specialist – products. Robinson has 22 years loss adjusting experience and has been a liability specialist for 12 years – specifically the investigation and resolution of complex, multi-party, national and international product liability and product recall claims. Robinson is based in the company's offices in Manchester.

Mike Marston will take on the role of principal specialist –environmental. Marston has extensive knowledge of pollution claims handling, particularly those involving escape of oil and chemicals, agricultural products, damage to environmentally sensitive areas and water, together with multi-claimants and high profile incidents – Marston has 26 years loss adjusting experience and is based in Bristol.

Ian Mowforth has been named as principal specialist – personal injury. Based in Leeds, Mowforth specialises in handling claims arising from industrial diseases, bullying and harassment and general health care. Mowforth has 22 years liability claims handling experience both within an insurance company environment and as a loss adjuster.

Finally, Graham Ginn has been appointed market director of liability services – London. Ginn's particular area of expertise is in handling claims regarding contractor related losses, property and financial claims, and regularly handles highly complex, multi-million pound losses. Ginn, who will be based in the company's offices in London, has over 20 years experience and was previously with a major insurance company.

The new appointments will report to Alan Vallance, complex loss director. Vallance commented: “The complex loss division has seen outstanding growth in the last year, (30% in 2006) and these new appointments will enable us to focus on providing a more comprehensive and specialist service to the insurance market.”
