Mathew Collins is appointed broking director at Chelmsford-based FMW. He will be responsible for the company's liaison with Lloyd's, as well as with London and provincial insurance companies, and for developing new products. He has been with the group since 1992.
Marsh UK
David Irvine is appointed director at the Belfast office of Marsh UK. He has more than 20-years experience and is a fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Chartered Insurance Practitioner.
Bland Bankart
Bland Bankart makes two new appointments to the board. Peter Brown is appointed the group's development director and Neil Emerson is appointed the group's marketing director, in addition to his current role as managing director of the risk services company.

BUPA
Les Schroeter is appointed business manager for long-term care at BUPA. He will be working within the intermediary sales channel at BUPA Health Assurance. He first joined BUPA in 1994.
Ecclesiastical Insurance
Harry Tomczyk is appointed corporate marketing manager at Ecclesiastical Insurance. He will also take responsibility for the management of a new technology-based customer relations system and for both internal and external communications and research.
