A new fast-track system will allow straightforward personal injury claims with New Claims Direct to be resolved within 30 days.

Neil Kinsella, is a partner at law firm Russell Jones & Walker (RJW), which owns New Claims Direct, and is also the claims firm's chief executive. He said the "fast-track" system would give claimants a medical assessment and access to rehabilitation within 72 hours.

He added that claimants would not pay an after-the-event insurance premium under the company's model.

He said both the solicitor and the insurer would have a "reasonable profit margin".
