New moves have been revealed in Acrisure’s UK business
Mark Mcilquham and Katherine Cross have resigned from their leadership positions within Acrisure’s UK business.

Companies House documents revealed that chief executive Mcilquham, as well as chief financial officer and chief operating officer Cross, had their roles terminated on 19 June 2026.
An Acrisure spokesperson confirmed that Andrew Boyce will become interim chief executive, while Eleanor Gamble will become chief operating officer.
Boyce most recently served as international executive vice president at Acrisure, while Gamble was international vice preisdent for corporate development.
Meanwhile, Simon Cooter, currently a non-executive director, will move into an executive position to support the leadership team.
Departing leaders
Having spent over 20 years as a partner at Deloitte working in the insurance sector, Mcilquham joined Acrisure in 2021 with a mandate to build a UK retail platform from scratch.

He oversaw multiple acquisitions and led 800 colleagues across the entirety of the UK.
Cross, meanwhile, joined Acrisure UK retail in February 2024, having previously worked for Tysers for over 20 years in a number of senior finance roles.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
