’Together, these changes strengthen a proposition firmly centred on brokers,’ says broker
Clear Group has rebranded two of its MGAs as it looks to continue strengthening its broker first strategy.

The move sees Accelerate Underwriting become Shape Digital, while Thomond Underwriting has been named Shape Underwriting Ireland.
This comes after Clear Group began rebranding its MGAs in May 2025 to the Shape brand, with Profile Underwriting and One Commercial Specialty being renamed Shape Underwriting.
Mandy Hunt, managing director at Shape Underwriting, said: “Our vision has always been to build a business that brokers can rely on for access, expertise and service.
”The launch of Shape Digital and Shape Underwriting Ireland reflects our continued investment in that vision, making it easier for brokers to access markets, benefit from high quality underwriting and experience consistently excellent service.”
Strengthens position
Clear Group believes having its MGA operations under a single brand will improve its service proposition and strengthen its position in the market.

“Together, these changes strengthen a proposition firmly centred on brokers, combining underwriting expertise, enhanced digital capability and a service led approach to improve access to markets and deliver value at every stage of the broker journey,” the broker said,
”These developments form part of Shape Underwriting’s broader strategy to create a more unified and compelling offering, bringing together strong underwriting capability and modern digital infrastructure under a clear, consistent brand.”
