‘We have a strengthened leadership team in place to support our network members,’ says senior managing director
Willis Networks – an insurance broking network run by WTW – has announced the promotions of Lynne Norledge to the role of managing director and Mark Cobham to deputy managing director.

A four-decade insurance broking industry veteran with experience at Aon, Marsh and HSBC Insurance Brokers, Norledge joined Willis Networks in 2017 and most recently led the firm’s insurer relationship strategy in her role as commercial director.
In her new role, Norledge will be tasked with “supporting the growth of independent brokers within the network, strengthening insurer relationships and ensuring members continue to benefit from the expertise, opportunities and market access that help them create value for their clients”.
Cobham, meanwhile, has spent the past 30 years of his career with Willis Networks, most recently as the network’s services director, a role in which he was responsible for “leading on all areas of service delivery”.
’Strengthened leadership team’
Philippa Cartmell, senior managing director at WTW, said: “Norledge’s experience within the network, combined with her broader industry background, gives her a unique perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing independent brokers.

“And with Cobham appointed as deputy managing director, we have a strengthened leadership team in place to support our network members and ensuring we continue to deliver the strong insurer relationships and broader risk and insurance expertise which WTW can bring to our clients.”
Norledge added: “Willis Networks has a powerful role to play in supporting independent brokers as they navigate a changing market.
“I am delighted to take on this role and look forward to working closely with our members, markets and colleagues to build on the strong foundations already in place and continue delivering meaningful value for members and their clients.”
