’Our service empowers brokers to build truly tailored solutions and ensures clients get support when it matters most,’ says co-founder

A new MGA which provides bespoke, modular commercial cover for UK SME clients has been launched.

Called Kovrilo, the UK-based firm’s platform has a modular format that allows clients to pick only the cover they need, including property and liability, cyber, legal and terrorism.

The MGA was incubated by Mission, is supported through a five-year capacity agreement and will scale through partnerships with established brokers and selected insurtech providers.

It has been founded by Tim Smith and Sonia Habib, who both join from Jensten Group.

Smith said: “At Kovrilo, we believe insurance should move as fast as business.

”Our service empowers brokers to build truly tailored solutions and ensures clients get support when it matters most.”

Habib added: “The use of first-rate technology is an important part of our underwriting ethos, but it’s crucial that we pair this with broker-centred human underwriters to provide brokers and clients with the attention and peace of mind they deserve.”
