’Mission is in an exciting period of growth with Kovrilo marking our second launch of 2025 and other innovative, exceptional MGAs still to come,’ says chief executive

Mission has announced the launch of new UK MGA Kovrilo, which will provide a range of commercial insurance products tailored to SME clients.

The new business centres on a flexible, tech-driven underwriting platform that allows brokers to tailor products to the specific insurance needs of individual small businesses.

Kovrilo is expected to go live in early 2026 and is set to be run by Tim Smith and Sonia Habib, who both join from Jensten Group.

Ross Dingwall, chief executive at Mission, said: “Smith and Habib exemplify the sort of people Mission is designed to support – a strong network of connections, a sharp understanding of what the market needs and a healthy desire to succeed.

”Mission is in an exciting period of growth, with Kovrilo marking our second launch of 2025 and other innovative, exceptional MGAs still to come.”

Leadership

Both joining from Jenston Group, Smith makes the move from his role as underwriting and product director at the broker, which he held for six years.

Meanwhile, Habib spent over a decade at the group and most recently served as head of product development.

Commenting on her new position on LinkedIn today (8 December 2025), Habib said: ”I partnered with Smith and together we have combined years of MGA expertise to build something new.

“I am incredibly proud to share that we are launching Kovrilo in January 2026 a tech-led, broker-first MGA focused on UK SME Commercial insurance. We have achieved in months what often takes years, supported by an exceptional network of people who believed in our vision.”
