New property MGA set to launch this autumn

MGA capital partner Mission is set to launch a new specialist property MGA.

Called Kyntra, the firm will be based in Dublin and led by David Gibson and Robert Purser. 

The firm is expected to launch in autumn 2026 and will be Mission’s 12th MGA in the UK and Europe. 

Ross Dingwall, chief executive at Mission, said: “This launch marks an important milestone in Mission’s long-term growth.

”As we expand our footprint beyond the UK, we are looking to partner with talented underwriters across Europe, a region with significant opportunities for the MGA market.

”In Gibson and Purser, we have found established local underwriters with the experience and technical expertise required to build a sustainable MGA. 

“This approach will remain central to the continued growth of our European portfolio.”

Expertise

Both Gibson and Purser join the MGA from Aon-owned NFP.

Gibson was most recently head of commercial at NFP, starting the role in October 2024. Prior to this, he was the commercial combined product and underwriting manager at MX Europe.

Meanwhile, Purser joined NFP in January 2025 as another leader for commercial business. Prior to NFP, he was head of commercial property at Blackrock Insurance Solutions.

Commenting on his new role on LinkedIn on 30 July 2026, Gibson said: ”I’m incredibly excited to share that we’ll soon be launching Kyntra, a specialist property MGA to bring fresh thinking, deep understanding and and real focus to the property combined insurance market.”

Purser added: ”We’re looking forward to bringing expert underwriting, tailored property solutions and a relationship-focused approach to the Irish market.”
