There are just three days to go until the winners for Insurance Times’s Tech & Innovation Awards 2020 will be revealed at a virtual ceremony on 17 September

Here we feature iprism’s entry into Data Analytics Excellence Award.

iprism entered its Business Intelligence Platform.

What key achievement did your entry highlight?

The development of the Business Intelligence Platform was not just a reaction to the industry’s technology race, it was much more fundamental to the iprism business model; that the ownership and access to real-time underwriting and claims data is at the heart of the business, enabling us to support all our stakeholders in delivering profitable, relevant and realistically-priced products.

Can you share data or testimonials to back up your bid to win?

Unfortunately, we are unable to share financial information to a public audience due to issues of client confidentiality.

What sets your firm apart from the other short-listed contenders?

We are sure all of the short-listed firms are highly deserving and high achievers in their class however, we are naturally biased and believe that what we have achieved with our Business Intelligence Platform has set us apart from the competition.

How will you celebrate if you are the victor?

If we were to win, it would be a victory for our entire team who have all worked so hard to support our platform, so we’d definitely start by rewarding them for their efforts, maybe with a virtual breakfast party the morning after.
