The partnership followed a ’competitive trial process’
Telematics-focused technology firm Trakm8 has teamed up with telematics insurtech Ticker, to provide data management solutions and devices for the insurtech’s new pay-per-mile proposition, which will be launched early in the new year.
The partnership has an initial contract term of three years.
The businesses’ believe that Trakm8’s real-time vehicle sensor data will complement Ticker’s pricing and data capabilities.
John Watkins, Trakm8’s executive chairman, said: “Ticker is one of the UK’s fastest growing motor insurtechs and we are pleased to partner with [it] following a competitive trial process.
“We are looking forward to working with the team at Ticker and supporting the delivery of [its] pay-per-mile product.”
Trakm8 offers an end-to-end telematics solution to insurers that is designed to increase revenues and facilitate new product lines.
