Michael Pettifer Insurance Brokers, trading as MPI Brokers, has entered creditors’ voluntary liquidation.

The Surrey-based broker, which was established in 2002, specialised in travel insurance. It was authorised and regulated by the FCA to sell and arrange insurance policies.
The FCA confirmed that the broker entered creditors’ voluntary liquidation on 21 November 2025.
The FCA said that Robert Cooksey of Bridgestones has been appointed as liquidator. A statement on MPI Brokers’ website directs customers with enquiries relating to existing claims or complaints for policies sold by MPI Brokers to contact Bridgestones.

MPI Brokers’ statement said that ”as part of the liquidation process, Robins Row Limited acquired the renewal book from the company”.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
