2002 is the best year for development and sales of NMT Premier Plus, with the 150th broker going live during July.
50 of the 150 brokers are now live on the Application Service Provider (ASP) model.
NMT Premier Plus director Paul Matthews said: "Sales are on budget to achieve our objective for 2002 to more than double the number of customers to around 250 by the end of the year.
"The ASP solution is proving extremely popular with brokers who no longer have to sink any costs into new hardware and can benefit from the improved data security that the specialist hosting centre, located in Docklands, London, provides. Brokers are recognising the need to move to modern open technologies and away from their 'green screen' legacy systems. 35 of the 50 new sales made this year have come from SSP users."
Full cycle EDI schemes are now live with Broker Direct, NIG, Zenith, Norwich Union, Groupama, Link and Zurich.
A number of insurers are in test and expected to go live over the course of the next 2 or 3 months - Highway, KGM, Avon, AXA, Fortis, and RSA.
