Technology provider Novell has acquired IT consultancy Salmon, a company which provides IT services to Lloyd's.
Terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
Novell said the acquisition would strengthen and expand its enterprise consulting and service-based offerings in Europe, particularly in the UK market.
Salmon would bring strong services expertise to Novell's existing consulting practice focused on the delivery of web-based solutions, the company added.
