Royal & Sun Alliance has announced that in accordance with the terms of the Scrip Dividend Scheme, it will issue 21,058,423 ordinary shares of 27.5p each to shareholders who have elected to receive new ordinary shares instead of a cash dividend, for the 2006 interim dividend.
R&SA has applied to the UK Listing Authority for these shares to be admitted to the Official List and to the London Stock Dealings are expected to commence on 30 November 2006.
