Twenty-five jobs will be lost following Heath Lambert’s decision to move part of its risk processing operations from Swindon to its London headquarters.
Risk processing staff at the company’s Swindon centre were consulted about the changes and were invited to apply for 30 positions remaining in Swindon and a further 25 in London.
It said the move does not signify a reduction in the company’s commitment to the Swindon centre, which employs 350 staff. It said it was in the final stage of negotiating a ten-year lease on new premises in Swindon.
Heath Lambert said the move was part of its Service Excellence project aimed at improving efficiency in the company’s processes and improving the quality of service provision.
In addition, the company will benefit from the early adoption of key principles of the wider London market reforms and FSA regulation, said Heath Lambert.
UK managing director Adrian Colosso, said: “One of the key objectives of our company is to continuously improve the quality of service we offer to our clients and the markets. Service excellence is something we want to be synonymous with the Heath Lambert name.
“The creation of specialist technical positions in London sees the work moving closer to both the clients and the markets, helping us to enhance our service delivery.
