National building repair service UK Repairline has won two new contracts with Royal & SunAlliance (R&SA), worth about £8m annually.

UK Repairline, a partnership between London-based repairer Improveline and The Building Maintenance Company, based in Newcastle, was awarded the contracts in addition to those previously won with R&SA.

The two new regions cover repair work required by the insurer in Scotland and South Midlands.

R&SA UK supply chain manager Stewart Murray said: "By expanding the contracted areas we are continuing to strengthen our relationship with UK Repairline."

Managing director of The Building Maintenance Company, Mitchell Smith said: "In working together on the R&SA contract, we are continuing to develop the processes underlying the UK Repairline offer."
