Ashworth Mairs Group has become the first loss adjuster to receive CII Continuing Professional Development Accreditation.

It received the accreditation for its in-house training facility, following a rigorous evaluation process.

The CII has also asked Ashworth Mairs to work in collaboration with it on its newly-formed Faculty of Claims, aimed at raising standards and levels of professionalism across the claims community.

Ashworth Mairs chief executive David Mairs said: “We seek to supply the most technically skilled loss adjusters in the industry."

"To this end we develop our people to their fullest potential encouraging breadth and depth of thought, in order to deliver professionalism and intellectual agility for our customers."

Sandy Scott, CII director general said: “Ashworth Mairs Group are to be congratulated for this achievement. It sets the lead in the loss adjusting profession that I hope other organisations will follow."
