Lloyds TSB Insurance Services was the most profitable insurance intermediary in the UK for the 2000/2001 financial year.

The company recorded a pre-tax profit margin of 92% on sales turnover of £440.9m. Compound sales growth for the period from 1998/1999 to 2000/2001 was 20%. It was followed by Clydsdale Bank Insurance Brokers, which recorded a profit margin of 81.8% on sales of £25.7m.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
