The London Stock Exchange (LSE) has announced a directorate change, with Martin Wheatley stepping down from the board with effect from 1 April 2004.
Wheatley has been with the LSE for 18 years, and most recently took responsibility for the LSE's regulatory strategy and communications functions.
LSE chief executive Clara Furse said Wheatley had played a key role in establishing the LSE's SETS electronic order book as well as during the exchange's demutualisation in 2000.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
