The executive chairman and a founder member of the London Underwriting Centre (LUC) is to retire at the end of the year.
The executive chairman and a founder member of the London Underwriting Centre (LUC) is to retire.
Ken Haddon's resignation will be effective from 1 January 2002. A successor will be announced shortly.
Haddon, 63, has worked in the insurance industry for 37 years.
LUC managing director John Sprawson said: "I am sure the board will join me in thanking Ken for his immense contribution to the LUC.
"As a founder member, his tireless efforts and dedication have helped establish the LUC as a central hub of the London insurance market and he has been instrumental in promoting the interests of the London market as a whole. We wish him well in his retirement."
